I feel like a broken record talking about Jewelmint because within the past few months everyone has talked about it. I had signed up a while ago but never actually purchased anything until...


 I was watching Elle- Allthatglitters21 who I adore, she was talking about Jewelmint along with a necklace she was considering buying called Fantasia.  As soon as she described it, I HAD to hop on over to the site and check it out. Also I did some research and couldn't find anyone else who talked about this necklace! I was in love but still didn't really want to spend money on jewelry because somehow pieces always break/get lost on me! lol. Finally when I received an email stating $8.99 for my first Jewelmint piece. Of course I jumped on it and the necklace came in the day before my birthday June 28th.

 I can't talk enough about the packaging Jewelmint pieces have(its beautiful). I opened it up and was literally giddy at how stunning the Fantasia Necklace is! I have been wearing it everyday since! I love the peachy pink color of the quartz and the stones around it. Two of the stones are very iridescent!  The only jewelry I wear with this are my wedding rings-nothing else. I pair it with plain tops because I want it to be more about the necklace. I think everyone who does Jewelmint needs this necklace.

You'll Always Remember Your First!

I have always wanted to buy an Essie nail polish but couldn't convince myself to spend $8.00 on a polish! I finally took the plunge and bought number 744 Trophy Wife and I LOVE it! My try at this polish was not good because I painted my nails outside while I was tanning. The heat cause the polish to have a rough application and bubbled up. The second application inside went on like a dream, you really only need two thin coats. I love the name Trophy Wife, I think its so cute. I know some women can find it offensive but I personally think being called a trophy wife is a compliment. This is a perfect mermaid blue-green shade! In the sun its even more amazing because all the light reflects it has running through it makes it glisten just like a mermaid! Normally I like bigger brushes because its less strokes and easier application for me. However, I love the brush Essie polishes have because it's pretty small which makes it great for toes! :) I'm so happy this was my first Essie polish I own and will repurchase it forever!! I will always remember my first-Essie Polish in Trophy Wife!

   I always find myself having a lot to say about beauty and fashion but I have been hesitant to start this blog. I know there are so many others out there, especially with the YouTube beauty community expanding from blogs to video! Once I have decided to start this I got super excited and blogs started rolling though my head! I'm very excited about this project and I hope beauty lovers find it fun and useful!
